Driver Agreement

This agreement outlines the obligations and terms for independent drivers operating their businesses through the FarTrip directory.

1. Independent Contractor Status

You acknowledge and agree that you are an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, or partner of FarTrip. You are solely responsible for operating your own transportation business, encompassing all aspects of your service delivery.

2. Compliance & Legal Obligations

You agree to maintain at all times:

• A valid driver's license in your operating jurisdiction.
• Valid commercial or appropriate personal auto insurance as legally required for your services.
• All necessary municipal or provincial licenses, permits, and authorizations required to operate a transportation business.

FarTrip assumes no responsibility for your failure to comply with local laws and regulations.

3. Financial Independence

You determine your own rates. You negotiate directly with the rider. You keep 100% of the fare negotiated. FarTrip does not collect or process rider payments. Your financial obligation to FarTrip is limited to the subscription fee required to list your profile on the marketplace.

4. Platform Standard

You agree to accurately represent your vehicle, pricing, and services. FarTrip reserves the right to remove any driver profile from the platform at any time, at our sole discretion, if we determine the driver has violated these terms, engaged in fraudulent behavior, or accumulated excessive rider complaints.
