Is FarTrip a transportation company?
No. FarTrip operates strictly as an online advertising directory and digital marketplace. We connect riders with independent drivers, but we do not provide transportation services, nor do we employ drivers or own vehicles.
How do I securely pay for my ride?
Payment methods and timing are negotiated directly between you and the driver (e.g., Cash, Interac e-Transfer, Credit Card terminal if the driver has one). FarTrip does not collect or process transit payments.
How are the drivers verified?
Before a driver's profile is published in our directory, they must pass a thorough application process. This involves submitting valid government identification, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance for administrative review.
